Keys to making sure you have a proper fit for your child's safety:
Not too small, not too big. If you can't buckle the jacket, it's too small. If the PFD rides up over child head, it's too big.
Should be snug, but
comfortable. Test fit by gently picking up your child by the life
jacket. If the personal flotation device (PFD) doesn't ride up over the
ears, it's a good fit.
Use United States
Coast Guard (USCG) approved jackets only; check the label inside for
approval. Children's jackets come in three sizes:
Women's polyester microfleece full-zip jacket with drawcord waist, zip
pockets and lined sleeves. Perfect for winter, spring and fall.
Columbia's quarter-zip pullover is made from a quick-drying, non-pilling
polyester stretch fleece to keep you warm and dry on and off your
Grady! Elastic cuffs and an open bottom for easy movement.
