An App for your Anchor
If you anchor out overnight, there are great phone apps available that sound an alarm if your anchor drags. While all chart plotters have the ability to do the same thing, they can greatly draw down your house and/or starting battery(s) if left on overnight. The apps are easy to use and you can quickly define the radius of your anchor swing so that you don’t get a false alarm in the middle of the night should the wind and/or current change.
